I am Ihediwa Nkemjika Chimee, a doctoral candidate (Abd) and a lecturer in the Department of History & International Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka Nigeria. I am also an Attorney and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. My research interests are in the domain of political history, environmental history, history of science and technology(with emphasis on European colonial techonology and resource exploitation in Africa), social and economic history and culture history of the Igbo os southeastern Nigeria. I am interested in Europes neocolonial resource entanglements in Africa and how Africa has been responding to this phenomenon.
